New to Lanier Tech? That's great! We're happy to have you as part of the Lanier Tech Laker family. This article should give you the basic information you need to get started.
In order to ensure your information at Lanier Tech is secured, LTC has established the Laker Login and the Laker Portal. The Laker Login and Laker Portal use your student email and password accompanied with Multi-Factor Authentication to protect access to Banner Web (registration/payment/etc), Office 365 (student email), Blackboard (online course materials) along with many other services. To setup your Laker Login, do the following:
- You will need your 910 student number to look up your Laker Login. That comes via email to your personal email address. If you cannot find it, please email email@example.com or call 770-533-7000 and ask for admissions.
- Get your Laker Login (username/Email).
- Change your password by going to login.laniertech.edu The initial password is your date of birth. For example, January 3, 2002 would be: Jan032002. You MUST change your password away from the initial password. Login to login.laniertech.edu or use a computer on campus to change your password. This is a one-time requirement to change it AWAY from the initial password.
- Setup required Multi-Factor Authentication.
