If you have any assignment or assessments in your courses that 1) use the Respondus Lockdown Browser and 2) were copied over from other courses, then there is a weird behavior popping up that you might need to take a second to avoid/remedy.
Some students already this term have reported trouble getting into a Lockdown Browser assessment – errors like “profile not found,” or the general error that the instructor needs to enable it in Respondus Dashboard.
⚠️ ACTION ITEM: From your course homepage, go to the Books & Tools section under Details & Actions on the right. Scroll down to Respondus Lockdown Browser Dashboard, and click on it to open it.
That’s all you need to do. You don’t need to reset or change any assessment settings, you just have to “nudge it” to wake it up. This should help to avoid students getting those errors when trying to get into locked down assessments. You do need to do this in every individual course which has LDB assessments.
