While on an active call press the conference key to place the original person on hold

then use the key pad to dial the phone number or extension of the person you want to join the conference call

    wait for the person to answer
        let them know you are going to add them to the conference call

        explain what the conference call is ab

    then press the conference call button to merge the calls
