Go to the Laker Login Portal: https://login.laniertech.edu
NOTE: If you already have office installed, you will need to uninstall the older office first.
Log in using your Lanier Tech credentials.
Select Microsoft 365
On the left side menu, click Apps
Click Install Apps
Click Microsoft 365 apps
Click Install Office
Proceed to install the downloaded software installation package. If you get any errors, verify that you do not have a different version currently installed. Also, verify that you have the latest updates for your operating system.
You will be required to use your LTC account when prompted. If you are signed in with any other account, such as a personal Microsoft account, the licensing will not activate.
Also, if your computer is running in "S-Mode", you will be required to take your device out of this mode before installing Office365. Refer to the following article for step-by-step instructions: Switching out of S mode in Windows - Microsoft Support
