Windows Hello allows you to use a pin code or facial recognition to login to your Surface Book 3.  This authentication method is specific to a device.  It will not be available on another device.

To set up Windows Hello features, use the following steps:

1. Use the search bar next to the Windows key to search for and open Sign-In Options.

2. Click on Windows Hello PIN (a PIN is required for all Windows Hello functions) and click Add.

3. Follow the prompts to set up the Windows Hello PIN.  The PIN must be 6+ characters.  It may be all numeric if you choose.

4. If you wish to set up Windows Hello Facial Recognition, select Windows Hello Face and click Add.

5. Follow the prompts to set up facial recognition.  All done!
