Docking
- The Surface Book 3 will dock to your new setup using a single cable connected to the monitor with speakers over a USB-C cable.
The Surface Book 3 has a USB-C port on the right side. To dock, plug in the USB-C cable to your laptop’s USB-C port. The laptop can be on or off, and the lid can be open at the time of docking. Within a few seconds, both monitors should come online and your keyboard/mouse should begin working.
