Icons in the System Tray
(lower right corner of the screen near the clock)
|The normal blue cloud icon means One Drive is working properly and no attention is needed.
|The circular arrows over the One Drive icons signifies that file sync is in progress. This may be visible while you have a file open and One Drive is automatically syncing every time the file is autosaved. This is normal and is not a cause for alarm.
|A red circle with a white cross means that a file or folder cannot be synced. Contact the LTC HelpDesk
|A grayed-out One Drive icon in the task bar means you're not signed in, or One Drive setup hasn't completed. Contact the LTC HelpDesk.
|A yellow warning triangle means your account needs attention. Select the icon to see the warning message displayed in the activity center. Often this will be a file version conflict. If needed, contact the LTC HelpDesk for assistance.
Icons in File Explorer

|This icon indicates that the file is stored in the Microsoft cloud. You can open this file as long as you have internet access. Opening the file will cause it to be sync'd to your computer and then it will be available regardless of whether you have internet access or not.
|This icon indicates the file is sync'd to your computer and is available regardless of whether you have internet access or not.
|This icon indicates that you have marked this file as Always keep in this device." This file will be available regardless of whether you have internet access or not.
