The browser cache is a temporary storage location on your computer for files downloaded by your web browser. These files are used to help display web page content.


Clearing your browser cache often will help with login issues, especially with BannerWeb and Blackboard.  


To clear your browser's cache on a Windows PC, open the browser and press Ctl-Shift-Del.  You will be prompted with the means to clear the cache.


To clear your browser's cache on a Mac, use Command-Y.

Google Chrome

Visit Google’s website to learn how to clear cache and cookies in Chrome. (Note the default setting for clearing cache in Chrome is “…from the past hour.” Be sure to choose the option for “…from the beginning of time” to make sure the cache is fully cleared.)
